Scope and Content: Material in this sub-subseries relates to the President of Ireland and/or his/her office. The first file (G60/39/1/1/1) consists mainly of correspondence and includes two Christmas cards from President Éamon de Valera 1967, 1969; letter from Cearbhall Ó Dálaigh with handwritten note congratulating the receiver on work of Conradh na Gaeilge (15th Jan 1975); submission to President Patrick Hillery in relation to the crisis of the Irish language (12 Aug 1984); material relating to the Gaisce an Uachtarán [President Awards] and correspondence with President Robinson including in relation to her address to the houses of Oireachtas (2 Feb 1995).
