Scope and Content: This subseries consists of correspondence and press releases relating to the Gaeltacht and is sorted chronologically. Material includes correspondence relating to Comdháil Um Cáisce Comóras don Ghaeltacht 23/4/1946 [G60/32/7/1]; correspondence relating to the Gluaiseacht Chearta Sibhialta na Gaeltachta 1977 [G60/32/7/2] and documentation relating to the public enquiry into Údarás na Gaeltachta 1981/1982 [G60/32/7/7]. Material in G60/32/7/14 relates to planning in Gaeltacht areas and appeals against construction of houses such as luxury holiday homes in Spiddal in the 1970s and development in Donegal in the 1980s.
